Located in the former mouth of the Guadalete River, transformed with the passage of time into a tidal canal and known today as the San Pedro River, this beach, in the Puerto Real neighborhood of San Pedro, is of enormous socio-environmental value. Its beach access can be found on the Avenida Argentina. It is divided into two sections: "El Conchal," more natural and bordering a large pine forest, and "La Ministra," with parking nearby and a small park which has tables under the shade of several eucalyptus trees. An ideal place to enjoy a day at the beach and become acquainted with the uniqueness of the Bay of Cádiz.
The two sections of the beach are divided by the "Caño de Cortadura" built during the Peninsular War to avoid a possible French siege of Fort San Luís on Trocadero Island.
