This 2 km length of beach is separated from La Barrosa by the "Farallón de Laja Bermeja". During low tide it is possible to walk from La Barrosa to Sancti Petri. Two stretches are visible: from the "Farallón de Laja Bermeja" (cliff) until the artificial breakwater existing in the mouth of Sancti Petri Channel. Here visitors can find a wild beach with an outstanding ecological value and then, a second area that stretches almost to Sancti Petri village. This old tuna-fishing village is currently in process of restoration.
It includes an interesting marina, fishing port and, also offers a wide range of sevices and facilities for water activities such as boat trips, guided visits to the castle, windsurf and sailing courses, kayak excursions,etc...
